Informing the Pleasanton Community About the Measure G Parcel Tax

Donate to Our Schools

The committee working to pass the parcel tax plans to raise and spend $80,000 on the campaign.  The PUSD will be paying up to $300,000 for the special election; win or lose.

We believe a better use of your time and money is to donate directly to our schools.  Your contribution of time and your donations will have a lasting impact long after campaign buttons and flyers are tossed away.

We encourage you to support quality education by making a tax deductible donation directly to any PUSD school, or a supporting organization.  Here are some possibilities:

  • Donate directly to a school of your choice.  Make out a check to the school site (for example "Alisal Elementary").  If you wish, you can note on the memo line which school program(s) you want your donation to support.
  • Consider high school sports boosters, band programs, and other extra curricular activities.
  • Check to see if your employer has a matching funds donation program and sign up for it.
  • Donate your time and expertise. Pleasanton's greatest asset is YOU; its talented and dedicated residents.
